Congress in color, not black and white

The job of US Representative has many facets that a newcomer is not prepared for, except I'm not going to Congress as a complete beginner. There's plenty of information available for what the job entails especially for a journalist; in fact much of it will come from the current Representative of District 3, Earl Blumenauer.

Earl Blumenauer has represented District 3 for 28 years since he won a special election to replace Ron Wyden in the summer of 1996. Ron went to the Senate, and has been there since.

The playbook for Earl Blumenauer is on his website: blumenauer.house.gov/issues

There are plenty of issues to get a handle on, and I'll be doing that in the days between Nov. 6 and being sworn into Congress on Jan. 20.

The playbook for my main competitor Maxine Dexter is on her website, too: maxine4oregon. It's basically written along the lines of Earl's party logic with plenty of stances that are broad enough that they really don't make much of a position.

My issues are visible on this website, but the issues all get fleshed out in color via the YouTube page and its videos: YouTube.com/@cliff4congress

The color playbook I'm referring to is filled with the ability to address issues the Democratic nominee is not able to due to the party commitment to stick to a message - one that's meant to basically avoid any issue that anyone who's highly liberal would not enjoy.
